Students Present Capstone Projects in Honors Math Seminar

Recently, students in Honors Math Seminar: Advanced Topics, taught by Verla Strain, presented their capstone projects.

 

The students, pictured here from left to right, covered the following topics:

 

Sam Zhang ’26 – “Sampling Statistics”

Aryan Saha ’27 – “Statistical Distributions and Rating Systems”

Tarun Chapalamadugu ’26 – “Random Number Generators”

Carson Radnay ’27 – “Catenary Curves”

Alan Risal ’26 – “Diffusion Models”

 

This class is designed for students who have completed AP Calculus BC and are interested in studying pure and/or applied mathematics in college.
