Berkeley Blue Notes Perform at Busch Gardens
Mar 05, 2024
The Berkeley Blue Notes (the Lower Division choir) sang at the Dragon Fire Grill at Busch Gardens. The joyful, student-directed performance included crowd favorites such as “Roar” by Katy Perry, “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey, and “You Can Count on Me” by Bruno Mars. The 20 boys and girls in the group are in second through fifth grade, and choir is a weekly after-school club—one of about 30 that are offered to Lower Division students at Berkeley.
Led by Kelly Collins, the Lower Division Music Teacher at Berkeley, the choir teaches children how to sing and dance together, learn lyrics and choreography, perform in front of an audience with confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of music.
