Eighth Grade Students Travel to North Carolina

This school year, Berkeley introduced a brand-new trip that has nudged students outside their comfort zones and into the wild! For their annual retreat, eighth grade students kicked off another amazing school year with an adventure in the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina. Students hiked through the mountains, learned outdoor cooking and map navigation, strengthened relationships with their classmates and teachers, and in doing so, significantly enhanced their grit and resilience.
