Berkeley Artist receives Gold Medal

Yunhan '13 received a national Gold Medal award from the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers at The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards of 2009 for her drawing "Clothesline." She was selected to display her artwork in Washington, DC at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Department of Education building. Yunhan was asked to submit an essay that is being featured as part of the exhibit and will enrich each visitor's experience and understanding of her creative process. We are excited to have Yunhan representing Berkeley's talented young artists to the nation!

Berkeley Preparatory School

Founded in 1960, Berkeley is an independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory day school located in Tampa, FL, for boys and girls in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. Approximately 1,400 students gather here from the greater Tampa Bay area to form ONE Berkeley.
