Singers and Dancers Collaborate In World Premiere Performance!

Many alumni, parents and students recently shared an afternoon of splendid choral music and ballet in the Lykes Center for the Arts. The Berkeley Singers, Beatitones and Mello Divas in collaboration with dancers from America’s Ballet School amazed the audience in the world premier performance of a new choral ballet, Pervigilium Veneris, by Choral Director Rob Redei, under the baton of Dr. Bruce LeBaron. The performance was inspired by the Latin poem Pervigilium Veneris (The Vigil of Venus), which evokes images of spring.
