Berkeley’s Faculty and Staff Go Above and Beyond
Among the first to invest in Above & Beyond were the faculty and staff. Every day, Berkeley faculty offer bright and multi-talented students an educational experience second to none in the Tampa Bay region. Students leave our Hollingsworth Campus on Kelly Road and go on to success in college, meaningful careers, and richly rewarding personal lives. The faculty and staff are rightfully proud of what they contribute to those lives of distinction. Now they can be proud of themselves for another reason.
One year ago, the Faculty & Staff Campaign Committee asked their colleagues, including retired faculty and staff, for their investment in Berkeley’s Master Plan through support of Above & Beyond. Their goal was to achieve $150,000 from this group. As their gifts came in, the group quickly surpassed their initial goal and went on to reach the almost unbelievable total of $231,000. With this show of support, the group became enthusiastic about the possibility of reaching their stretch goal of $250,000.
This fall, the Committee approached their colleagues for additional support and, once again, they showed us what makes Berkeley such a special place. With more than 25 additional gifts and pledges, the faculty and staff have now raised over $260,000! Their support truly affirms their dedication and commitment to Berkeley. Berkeley is an outstanding institution because of the great work done by each and every faculty and staff member.

Berkeley Preparatory School
Founded in 1960, Berkeley is an independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory day school located in Tampa, FL, for boys and girls in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. Approximately 1,400 students gather here from the greater Tampa Bay area to form ONE Berkeley.
