Three Berkeley Student-Athletes Participate in Signing Day

 
Three Berkeley student-athletes gathered today in a small ceremony and signed National Letters of Intent in front of their families, coaches and peers. Congratulations Jordan Burgess ’12, Mackenzie Dagostino ’12 and Bryane Heaberlin ’12, for signing with their academic institution of choice and committing to continue their athletic careers at the Division I collegiate level.

Jordan Burgess signed a letter of commitment to play volleyball for Stanford University. Jordan is the reigning Florida Gatorade Player of the Year and 2010 ESPNRise Junior Player of the Year. Jordan will graduate from Berkeley as the all-time career kills leader with 1, 715 and counting.
 
Mackenzie Dagostino signed a National Letter of Intent to play women’s volleyball at the University of Maryland. Mackenzie has been a starter of the varsity girls volleyball team at Berkeley since she was in the eighth grade. With Mackenzie leading the way, the Berkeley Buccaneers have compiled a record of 137-17 with two state championships and two state runner-up finishes.
Bryane Heaberlin committed to play women’s soccer at the University of North Carolina. Heaberlin was named an All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-American after her freshman and sophomore years and a Parade All-American following her sophomore season.
